Congratulations to Karen Parenteau for winning a Samsung Galaxy Tablet through the Ontario Developmental Services “Make a Difference Everyday” Contest.
Those who visited www.ontariodevelopmentalservices.ca before Dec. 10, 2012 to learn more about a career in developmental services were able to enter into draw.
Karen is a high school teacher in Northern Ontario who works with students with developmental disabilities. She says the website is “one resource that I can use to help me understand and assist students with developmental challenges.”
Congratulations to Selea Hewton of Waterloo. She is the winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tablet through the Ontario Developmental Services Human Resource Strategy Facebook contest.
Students like Selea were informed of the Ontario Developmental Services Human Resource Strategy while attending career fairs over the past year. Students were invited to check out the Strategy’s website and Facebook page. Those who filled out an online ballot were entered into a draw to win a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Selea’s name was drawn following the May 31, 2013 closing date.
Selea is interested in a career in developmental services, as she will be enrolling in Fanshawe College’s Developmental Services Worker program this fall.
